Artist Athletic Association - Manager 

Boston Theater Company a 501(c)(3) nonprofit is seeking a manager to help develop and oversee the 'Artist Athletic Association' The mission of the AAA is to promote health and wellness through physical activity while breaking the stereotype that arts and athletics are separate. 
BTC is looking for an enthusiastic individual who has experience competing in athletic competitions as well as organizing and executing events. The AAA is a new wing of BTC. We are seeking a person who has interest in joining the AAA on the ground floor as we build the organization.

Primary responsibilities

  • Organize team building/athletic actives (potential running clubs, swimming clubs, yoga classes)
  • Coordinate with existing athletic events (marathons, half marathons, triathlons) 
  • Work to create and lead new AAA endeavors (potential to create an AAA 10K)

Skills & Abilities:

• Self-starter with strong sense of ownership 
• Strong communicator and collaborator, this position works directly with the Artistic Director

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • Athletic experience
  • Arts experience is not required 
This position is part time with a small stipend.
