Boston Theater Company seeks a SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER to join our artistic staff:

 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Creating and maintaining social media posts
  • Creating engaging content for the BTC brand that appeals to audience members, builds community, and maintains our voice
    • Utilizing quotes, images, behind the scenes content, etc. to publicize BTC productions and events
  • When applicable, creating graphics, images, and videos to help market production and events
  • Monitoring traffic and impressions to develop an informed, ongoing social media strategy
  • Evaluating new social networks to be part when applicable
  • Participating in weekly company check-ins and meetings
  • Assisting with miscellaneous marketing/branding projects when applicable
  • Building monthly MailChimps to market to audience pool

The ideal candidate has...

  • Experience within the Boston theater community
  • A strong familiarity with social media platforms (particularly Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram)
  • Excellent organizational and writing skills
  • Photoshop and video editing experience a plus

All candidates must have a Bachelors degree. This position has a stipend.
