Our first production was our own adaptation of Romeo & Juliet. This 90-minute version reduced the classic text while leaving the remaining words unaltered, and set the political drama to contemporary pop music. BTC’s production showcased the versatility of the timeless verse, which Shakespeare wrote at the age of 25, and brought it to today’s audiences in a way that was fresh and fun. It ran to sold-out houses October 24th through November 2nd, 2013 at Club Cafe.
